We provide our infants with a safe, nurturing environment that allows each child to develop naturally, individually, and happily.
Our approach to our Infant curriculum is based on a learning plan for meeting the emotional, physical, social and cognitive needs of children, using developmentally appropriate practices in a supportive and nurturing environment. In order to successfully meet the needs of the children we utilize POCET Learning for Infants and Ones. These tools help the teacher direct and implement plans that will promote and foster each child’s individual development.
Teachers develop bi weekly lesson plans for each individual child until the age of 12 months. Then small group lessons with individual bench marks are developed for our one year olds. We also provide the classes with a series of books to use with the Story Stretchers for Infants and Toddlers curriculum.
