Kindergarten Enrollment begins Feb. 1

Kindergarten enrollment for the 2014 – 2015 school year begins Feb. 1 at the Early Learning Program. The first day of classes is August 11, 2014.

ELP offers an affordable full-day curriculum in a fun environment, giving children a great start to succeed at the next level. The private kindergarten is licensed through Washoe County School District and adheres to the Common Core standards. The class is instructed by a highly qualified teacher, with a degree in elementary education. The curriculum is structured to meet the needs of individual students. Comprehensive educational program includes reading, writing, math, science, social studies, arts, as well as the necessary social skills to transition to the first grade. Students also have an opportunity to visit the Boys and Girls Club DWR facility to participate in computers and weekly physical education.
